Big Bud is a Marijuana strain that was bred crossing Afghani and Skunk varietals, it is a cup winning strain famous for its heavy yields and vigour. Even though this has been bred as an auto flower strain, it hasn't compromised any of the tastes, strength or density of the original parent. This version will have a more compact structure than her predecessor as well as a faster flowering phase. These plants will begin to flower once their seventh to ninth pair of true leaves show, typically 6 - 8 weeks after germination, with this knowledge you should be able to plant these seeds so that the warmest, brighter months coincide with the flowering phase. Being auto-flowering, Auto Big Bud will flower on those long summer days while the photoperiod counterpart will not. Most of the yield from Auto Big Bud will be situated around the main stem and top branches. These auto-flowering plants should not be topped as the growth stage cannot be extended to recover from the stress. If the height is a factor that you need to work around then the breeder has recommended that you prune late in the growing stage. After 58 - 63 days in flower, Auto Big Bid plants will reach around 90cm - 1.3m and will be packed full of dense, matured, resin laden, Indica buds, packing a fair amount of weight so they will need some type of support to stay upright. Minimal shrinkage of these buds means that once dried they will retain most of their original size and weight. Calyxes get swollen to an incredible size, packed together where they almost compete for space, giving the flowers a high density. These flowers will come with an aroma that is a credit to the Afghan heritage, sweet and pungent, musky yet fruity with back notes of resinous hash. There is a potent physical effect that is elevated by the cerebral Sativa effects gained from Skunk #1 in the breeding process. A good mix of CBD/THC in this strain is the reason why it is suitable for a range of medicinal uses as well as a good recreational strain.
